On our left, as we enter the port and at the top of the homonymous mountains are located the monasteries of Profitis Ilias the Trulakios and of St. Simeon, which overlook Kamares.

Further down, at the foothill of the mountain you will see the developing settlement of Agia Marina also known as Pera Panta in the local dialect. On the opposite side there is the central settlement, the harbour's dock, the stores, the rooms for rent, the pottery workshops, ...

However, Sifnos keeps its natural beauties hidden in its interior and these are discovered as the visitor takes the fascinating journey to Apollonia. On the right side of the road you will come across the monastery of Agii Anargyri, oposite of which you'll see the "Kambanario", as the remnants of the local ancient tower.
